What Type of a Salon is TRIM NuLu?
TRIM NuLu is a full service high-end luxury salon located on the outskirts of downtown Louisville, KY in the NuLu district. We are an appointment only salon, but sometimes we have last minute openings. If you’re needing in we always urge you to call us or look at our online booking site to see if something has become available. If you call us there is a better chance that we can get you in. We are also a Redken Elite salon and use exclusively Redken products.
Does TRIM NuLu Take Walk-in Haircuts or Last Minute Hair Appointments?
Even though TRIM NuLu is a “by appointment only” hair salon, we sometimes have a cancellation available which enables us to accept walk-ins or late minute hair appoints in our Louisville, KY hair salon.
How Can I Book A Last Minute Hair Appointment?
Our online hair appointment scheduler can generally show if we have any appointments available. But we recommend calling us even if you don’t see anything online. Sometimes we are able to work you in even if the online booking system shows nothing available.
If I See a Slot Open Online Should I Book It?
Yes! If there is an appointment available for a time that you would like, please book it immediately so you can secure that slot before someone else does. Once the hair appointment is booked online, please come in per the time you’ve reserved.
Can I Just Come to the Salon and See if there is an Appointment Available?
Yes. However, since we usually stay pretty booked there is a chance we won’t be able to see you immediately. The best way to check if we have anything available is to call us at 833-874-6444.
What Services Can Be Performed in a Walk-in?
Here are the hair services that can normally be performed at our hair salon in the the event we have had a last minute cancellation:
- Dry Haircuts
- Shampoo, Haircut, and Style
- Hair Blowouts
- Lip Waxing
- Chin Waxing
- Eyebrow Waxing
- Styling such as flat ironing, curling your hair, and French or similar types of hair braids
How Much is a Haircut, Blowout, Facial Waxing, etc?
- Dry Haircuts are a 30 minute service and can range between $35-$50 depending on the level of the hairdresser available.
- Shampoo, Haircut, and Style is a 45 minute service and can range between $55-$75 depending on the level of hairdresser available.
- Blowouts are a 45 minute service and cost $65
- Lip waxing, chin waxing, and eyebrow waxing are each $20
- Styling, flat ironing, hair curling, or specialized braiding like French braids or similar will vary in time and cost depending on the service.
Is There Always Walk-in Appointments Available?
No, but sometimes we have last minute cancellations and are able to accommodate walk-in or same-day hair appointments. In the event we are not able to accommodate you immediately for a walk-in, we have a waitlist that we can place you on for the same day should an appointment open up.
Can I Get Hair Color (Highlights, Lowlights, Full Color, Color Correction) performed as part of a walk-in service?
As the leading hair salon in Louisville, hair color services are a little bit more difficult to accommodate immediately because of how time intensive those services can be.
